Terms of Guarantee

Saverlight selected products carry a 10 year guarantee against failure of the product to produce light.

Saverlight products produce light. The guarantee does not cover light degradation (estimated at 10% luminosity in 10 years), accidental damage due to over tightening, water damage, heat damage, or any other misuse of the product.

Any warranty offered is only valid for goods used within the United Kingdom.

All products sold are for indoor domestic use only unless otherwise stated in the description and/or product pages.

This warranty applies from date of purchase.

Warranties of Saverlight products may have guarantees less than 10 years. These 5 year or 1 year guarantees will work in the same way as the 10 year guarantee and are indicated at time of purchase.

Validity of Guarantee

The product should be installed normally by hand to comply with the conditions of the guarantee.
The product should not be used indoors or with adequate protects housing in order to protect the bulb from damage caused by weather or environmental damage.

The guarantee is invalid if:

If the light fitting has been customised or modified in any way.
The person claiming is not the original purchaser of the Saverlight.
The Saverlight has been treated unreasonably by misuse through chemical or other solvent, undue force in fitting, damage cause by collision, used in a heated environment above 45 degrees Celsius.
The Saverlight has been exposed to severe direct Sunlight for prolonged periods.
The light fitting has not been erected on a solid place allowing movement, vibration or other to cause damage to the Saverlight.

General Information

Saverlights are electrical appliances and susceptible to changes in the external environment, extremes of temperature, dampness, rain or weather conditions that may cause a reaction in the components or housing of the Saverlight to cause damage. All efforts should be made to protect the electrical appliance its normal use and prevent the appliance causing harm or damage through misuse.

Saverlight - 5 year Guarantee

Saverlights are of a very high quality both in their performance and construction. We guarantee some parts in these light bulbs for up to 5 years under the following conditions:

i. In the case of defects attributable to faulty processing or materials, we will assume responsibility for the replacement of the bulb during the first 5 years after purchase. We reserve the right to decide whether defective parts should be repaired or replaced. Parts such as boxes or packaging materials etc. are excluded from the guarantee.
ii. Products covered by a 5 year warranty & failing in the first 5 years and claiming under warranty should contact Saverlight by telephone or email.
iii. The Saverlight should be returned at their own expense to the nominated address advised by Saverlight together with the original receipt of purchase.
iv. On receipt of the defective Saverlight and valid receipt, Saverlight will dispatch a replacement but of the same or equivalent output. This will be at the discretion of Saverlight.

This guarantee is in addition and does not affect your statutory rights.
